What Our Record Does Not Claim

Everything on this page is the sort of thing a handicapping site normally leaves out. It is here because a record is only worth anything if its limits are published alongside it.

It does not predict your results

Our record is what happened if every pick was taken at the published number with flat stakes. Almost nobody does that. People skip the ones they dislike, take extra on the ones they love, get a worse number, or come in halfway through a bad run and leave before it turns. Each of those produces a different outcome from ours, and the differences are not random.

It is not evidence of a long-term edge

The sample is in the hundreds, not the thousands. At that size a positive result is consistent with skill and also consistent with ordinary variance, and we cannot tell you which from the inside. Anyone who tells you their few-hundred-bet record settles the question is overclaiming.

It is not audited

No third party verifies these numbers. The picks are published before the games, so the claims are checkable against timestamps, which is better than nothing and well short of an audit. If independent verification matters to you, weigh the record accordingly.

It does not mean future picks will be free

Nor does it come with any guarantee, any refund, or any obligation on your part. We are not selling a system here. The picks are published, the results are published, and what you do with either is your decision.

It says nothing about your bankroll management

The best picks in the world lose money for a bettor who stakes too large a share of their roll and runs into a normal losing stretch. Most people who lose at betting do not lose because their selections were terrible; they lose because their staking was. That is covered in the responsible gambling section, which is not legal boilerplate but the part of this site most likely to save you money.

We will say when we are wrong

Bad months get published in the same detail as good ones. The per-sport breakdown currently shows two sports underwater. Leaving them in is not humility, it is the minimum condition for the number at the bottom to mean anything.

Common Questions

Are you guaranteeing any outcome?

No. Nothing on this site is a guarantee, and sports betting carries a real risk of losing money. Only stake what you can afford to lose.

Why publish the weaknesses of your own record?

Because a record without its limits is marketing. If the figures only work when the caveats are hidden, the figures were never the point.

Do you sell picks?

The picks on this site are published free. Anything that changes will be stated plainly rather than buried.

What should I actually take from your record?

That the rules are written down, the losses are present, the price is stated, and the sample is still small. That combination is worth something. It is not worth your rent money.
